Major-General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, director-general of ICP, emphasized that the automated platform will manage pricing and issuance of insurance packages from major UAE insurance companies, ensuring comprehensive coverage for travelers.
Visitors are advised to check the specifics of their coverage to ensure it meets their needs, especially if they require more comprehensive protection.
Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of Thumbay Healthcare, praised the project as a progressive move reinforcing the UAE’s status as a top vacation destination. In an article published by the Khaleej Times , he said that with this service, travellers can enjoy their stay “knowing that their health and safety are given priority from the moment they apply for their visa.”
