Etihad Airways is gearing up for a major expansion in 2025, introducing 10 new international routes from its Abu Dhabi hub. This initiative enhances connectivity and positions Abu Dhabi as a more prominent global travel hub.
The expansion kicks off on July 2, 2025, with the launch of flights to Atlanta, operating four times weekly. On September 8, daily flights to Taipei will follow. October will see routes opening to Medan (three weekly), Phnom Penh (up to five weekly), and Krabi (daily).
By November, Etihad will add five more destinations to its network: Tunis, Chiang Mai, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Algiers. These routes will join the airline’s previously announced flights to Prague and Warsaw, further enriching its international offerings.
Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves highlighted the airline’s customer-focused approach, stating, “We’ve carefully selected destinations that resonate with our passengers, offering unique experiences and opportunities.”
In addition to these new routes, Etihad plans to increase flight frequencies to several European cities, reflecting its growing commitment to better serve global travelers. With its expanded network, Etihad reaffirms its dedication to delivering seamless, world-class travel experiences while strengthening its role in promoting tourism in the UAE.
