The campaign aligns with Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s plan to diversify its economy and welcome 150 million visitors by the end of the decade . Indian tourists are a major focus, with a goal to attract 7.5 million travelers from India.
Key destinations highlighted include Diriyah, Jeddah, AlUla, and Riyadh. These spots offer everything from UNESCO World Heritage Sites to modern urban attractions. Food plays a big role in the campaign, with vegetarian-friendly options and Indian restaurants spotlighted to suit dietary preferences.
To make travel easier, Saudi Arabia has simplified visa processes for Indian tourists. Tasheer kiosks, now available in Mumbai, allow for on-the-spot visa applications with a 48-hour turnaround. Travelers with valid U.S., UK, or Schengen visas can also avail of eVisas or visa-on-arrival options.
Flight connectivity has also improved. There are now 330 weekly direct flights connecting Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad to Saudi destinations such as Riyadh and Jeddah. As part of the launch, airlines like Saudia are offering special deals. These include a “buy one, get 50% off” promotion on business class tickets and discounts on economy fares.
